Jon Corzine, Rutgers football coach GregSchiano and men's basketball coach Fred Hill leading the cheers, theScarlet Knights came out smoking and punched a ticket to their firstwomen's NCAA title game with a 59-35 victory over LSU before asellout crowd of 20,704 in the first national semifinal.
Actor James Gandolfini, who portrays Tony Soprano on "TheSopranos," is a Rutgers alum and was on the sidelines for severalfootball games in the fall.
"What Greg Schiano has done is nothing short of a miracle,"Rutgers coach Vivian Stringer said. …
